Mark is a retired scientist who has always wanted to draw and paint though he is not that sure of why other than he enjoys it.
More than twenty years ago he started going to evening classes under the tutelage of Jean Martin. Encouraged by her to take on a structured course he attended Dundee College and undertook an HNC course in Contemporary Art Practice with Jean and Ian Ritchie as the main tutors.
